EDINBURGH CLUB SUCCESS AT BRITISH TRIALS, SHEFFIELD
2ND & 3RD DECEMBER 2006

The Edinburgh Club proved it was the strongest club in Great Britain last weekend, by taking five British titles, along with a silver and a bronze. On Saturday, Connie Ramsay took a well deserved silver at -63kg in the Junior section. Youngster, Danae Harris, just missed out on a medal and took a well deserved 5th in her first championships.

On Sunday, the seniors proved extremly strong. All of the hard work and determination paid off and was rewarded with success. The competition started off with the lightweights, and progressed up to the heavyweights throughout the day.
This puts many of The Edinburgh Club players in a strong position for the A Level and B Level tournaments next year. Both Head coach Billy Cusack and Coach David Somerville were extremely pleased with the performance of all the players.
