Bronze for Euan Burton
Euan has won Bronze at the 2008 Paris Super World Cup boosting his current Ranking to number 1 in the -81kg category.
Euan, who has already qualified for the Olympic Games this Summer, won his first two matches against Ahmet Sari of Turkey and Baye Diawara of the Senegal. His third match proved controversial, losing to Alain Schmitt of France in front of a 17,000 strong French crowd in the Bercy Stadium!
This tournament is considered one of the most prestigious in the circuit and is particularly important in this Olympic year in terms of obtaining qualification points.
In the repecharge, Euan easily won against Azizov of Azebighan and progressed to the Bronze Medal fight where he bet Attaf of Morocco with a koka score.
