"Sally was Fantastic" - quoted Billy Cusack following Sally's Silver Medal win at the Hamburg World Cup this weekend.
Sally achieved valuable Olympic ranking points in the -70kg weight category.
Sally is now ranked 8th in the European tables, qualification requires a placing of 5th or above so her focus is on performing well at the upcoming Warsaw World Cup and European Championships.
Sally lost the final to Castillo of Cuba but the fight was closely fought. This is a personal best in Sally's senior Judo Career.
Fellow Edinburgh Club player, Sarah Clark put in a brave performance. Sarah has been battling a virus in the lead up to the contest.
Sarah started well, winning her first two fights by Ippon but then lost to VAN EMDEN of the Netherlands. Her repecharge fights followed the same path with two further victories followed by a loss to the Korean to take 7th place.
The last World Cup events take place next weekend.
Travelling to the Prague event with Billy are, Euan, Matt, James Millar and James Austin.
Sally will travel to Warsaw with the Women's GB Team
